BREKKY REVIEW: Deedot Coffee House, Holland Park

We ventured over to Holland Park this morning to check out Deedot Coffee House! It was certainly worth the trip 🙂

All day breakfast is always a win in my books 🙂 and we were lucky to be able to sample the new menu! Their was plenty to choose from and the lunch options looked delicious! B had the Coconut and Maple Gronola with greek yoghurt and I had the “Eggs Istanbul: Harissa, labneh and avocado on Turkish with poached eggs, dukkah, rocket and a wedge of lemon.” I must admit I was very happy with my choice when it arrived. B said the gronola was nice but was disappointed as the gronola was only served with 3/4 of a banana. The mix of labneh and avocado gave my eggs a sweet zesty taste and the eggs were cooked to perfection. I had a quick peak at the sweets cabinet which was very tempting lots of Gluten Free goodies.

I was excited to try award winning Uncle Joe’s Coffee for the first time and it was amazing! The blend was smooth and the perfect temperature. The drinks menu looked amazing (the snickers milkshake is ment to be superb) but it was a bit too cold for cold drinks this morning!

Location and Service

Located on busy Logan Road you don’t actually hear the traffic as they have set up a little courtyards. It was a freezing winters day this morning though and there is barely any indoor seating so some blankets or outdoor heaters might be a nice addition. The service is counter, which is not my favourite but it was very fast once ordered and the staff were pleasant.

The Verdict

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Deedot, the food and coffee were delicious and the service was fast. A great little coffee house, I would give Deedot a 8/10.
