BREKKY REVIEW: Sol Breads, West End

I have always loved Sol Breads they do lots of great gluten free and spelt loaves. Although, I have never been to either of their cafes. I was meeting a friend and we were looking for a healthy cafe brekky so popped in and I was not disappointed.

Food

After a lot of deliberation I opted for the Acai Bowl with Coyo and Housemade Granola $14.50. This was quite expensive for an acai bowl but it arrived and it was huge! The acai was the perfect consistency and the granola was delicious. A little bit more fruit would have been appreciated.

Drinks

As the weather is getting warmer I decided to try an Iced Matcha Latte which was yummy although quite small.

We also tried one of the Harvest Cold Pressed Juices which was refreshing.

Service

The drinks arrived quickly but unfortunately the Acai bowl took quite a while (over twenty minutes).

Location

Sol Foods is located in West End down the river end. We arrived on a Sunday and there was a lot of parking available, this would be metered during the week. We sat in the main area where the coffee machine was but there is another seated area.

The Verdict: I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Sol Foods. Despite the food arriving late overall I would rate it 8/10.
