BREKKY REVIEW: Charlie’s Raw Squeeze, Everton Park

Charlie’s Raw Squeeze has recently popped up numerous times recently on the #brisbaneblogger hastag! I had never heard of them before but this dark horse was getting so many great reviews I had no choice but to check it out. It is so rare to find somewhere that is open late in Brisbane let alone 24 hours!

The menu looked spectacular, it was nice to see that it wasn’t overrun by Acai options. I had the Mango Goji Berry and Coconut Bowl $12 topped with stawberries, blueberries and banana. I loved that they not only presented it well but thought about when you get to the end of the bowl and are left with only moosh – they added an extra strawberry layer. Definately adding it to my Brisbane Acai Berry Bible. The raw treats looked incredible just a little out of my budget.

We also tried the Mango Madness (Mango, frozen berries and watermelon) Large $11. It’s nice to see somewhere that offers plenty of dairy free and gluten free options.

I have driven past Charlies Fruit Market for years, they are in a great spot with lots of parking. They have created basic outdoor seating from crates – not too sure how they would go in wet weather.

All of the staff were super friendly and energetic. Music was playing and they all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

The Verdict: I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I can see how they have been given titles such as the best acai in Brisbane. Overall 9/10.
