Raw Chocolate Delight

We’re both serious chocaholic’s and have difficulty finding healthy treats to cure those cravings. BUT… finally!!!! We have found the solution…. check out this raw chocolate brownie, no added sugar and easy to make in about 5-10 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups of whole walnuts
  • 1 Cup of raw, unsalted almonds
  • 5 Cups of pitted dates
  • 1 Cup of raw cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons of coconut oil
  • A small pinch of sea salt
  • 1 Tbsp. chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp. coconut flakes

Directions:

  1. Roughly chop almonds
  2. Place walnuts in a food processor until they are finely ground
  3. Add raw cocoa and salt
  4. Slowly add dates into the mixture while food processor is on (until you end up with a mixture that resembles cake crumbs)
  5. Add coconut oil and chia seeds
  6. Press mixture together (if mixture is not sticking together, add more dates)
  7. Place mixture in a large bowl and add chopped almonds – press together
  8. Mold into a cake tin
  9. Place in fridge or freezer until hardened, cut & serve

 Remember to store in an airtight container
