BREKKY REVIEW: Samson & Sophie, Teneriffe

I have found myself in Tenerieffe quite often lately. We decided to test out Samson & Sophie and it definitely lived up to expectations.

Food

The menu was simple but difficult to choose from. I decided on the Avocado Toast with dukkah and feta $12.90 and added two poached eggs $4. The eggs were cooked beautifully the avocado was smooth and fresh, the bread was crunchy. What more could you want?

 Drinks

S&S offer a daily juice and smoothie special which is an exy $7.90. We had the pineapple, watermelon and mint juice which arrived quickly and was refreshing.

Service

All of the staff were very efficient and fast although not overly welcoming. We ordered at the counter and were given our food but that was the extent of our interactions.

Location

S&S is at 2 Macquarie Street, it is quite a small area but organized well to sit around 20 people. All of the seating is very rustic and wooden with fresh flowers on every table.

The Verdict: I enjoyed my time at Samson and Sophie it is in a good location, they don’t try to hard and just focus on the basics. Overall 8/10.
