1. It reduces your risk of heart attacks and stroke
Regular chocolate consumption has been linked to improved cardiovascular health as well as reduced blood clotting. A study by the University of Berdeen concluded that those who ate chocolate every day had a 11% decreased risk of cardiovascular disease and a 23% reduced risk of stroke.

We wouldn’t use melted chocolate for sunscreen but the flavanols in dark chocolate help protect your skin against sunburn as the compounds act as UV filters. Eating chocolate will give you acne and pimples is a myth!

We are not joking! This isn’t your excuse to indulge in a whole block but neuroscientists say that a square of chocolate melted on the tongue causes a reduction in appetite!
