Peanut Butter Proteenies 

Every time I make ‘Proteenies’ I swear to make them more often. They are so easy to make and are the perfect snack on the go or post dinner pick me up.


1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup shredded coconut

1/2 cup pea protein powder*

1/3 cup rice malt syrup**

1/2 cup natural peanut butter

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs

1tbs chia seeds

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium sized bowl. If mixture is too wet add extra coconut.
  2. Roll balls into desired size. I prefer tablespoon sized balls for more of a substantial snack.
  3. Place in a sealed container in fridge for 3 hours or until firm. Store for up to 6 days in fridge.


* Use your preferred protein powder or simply go without.

** Honey or golden syrup could be used alternatively.
